New Toddler Time at Dover Free Library, Wednesdays 10:30am in the Children’s Room for infants to children age 3. Toddlers can interact with other children their own age while adult caregivers can meet and chat with other adults who care for little ones. Come join us for songs, activities, stories and a theme related craft. Preschool Storytime is conducted on Mondays beginning at 2:30 PM in 8-10 week sessions. The Winter 2020 session begins Monday, February 4th and continues through Monday, March 31st. This program is best suited for children ages 2-8. No registration is required.
School visits by Dover Elementary School students are held the first and third Friday of every academic month. Homeschoolers are encouraged to contact the children’s librarian to arrange homeschool visits.
Saturday Morning Cartoons are held the third Saturday of month; they are free and open to the public. Specific movie information can be found on the Calendar of Events or by calling the library 802-348-7488.

Coming in February :
Saturday, February 15: Saturday Morning Cartoons 10:30 am to Noon - Drop in and bring the family for an easy morning of cartoons. Each month a movie or classic cartoon will be shown in the community room. End times may vary.
Tuesday, February 18: Stuffie Storytime and Sleepover 7:00pm Bring your favorite stuffy for a special sleepy storytime. Your stuffed animal will spend the night in the library, butwatch out! Many have a little too much fun when no one is around. Photos of their shenanigans will be posted on our Facebook page.
Wednesday, February 19: Stuffie Breakfast and pickup 10am Your stuffed animal is ready to head home! Stop in for pick up and enjoy a continental breakfast with your friends.
Friday, February 21: Crafternoon 3pm This month's theme is snow! This program is best for children ages 5+
The UNIVERSE OF STORIES 2019 summer reading program was a great success. The program finished Tuesday, August 20th. At present the total talley for number of titles read by kids participating in this program stands at 161 and the total hours read 115 with reading records continuing to come in and be tallied. Twenty-eight children signed up to read more than last year. The library's children's program offered 18 programs for kids and their families with a total attendance of 87.
